Love the texture . Super comfy

It was just my guess to order the correct size and because this is a German brand, the sizing is a bit different, in my opinion. His US size is 10 vs. European size 43. However, due to the description on the website that one size covers 9-9.5, I guessed and purchased that size, which equals 42 in EU sizing according to the Birkenstock shoe sizing chart and it was just right! So far, I've purchased this pair of Tokio shoes and slippers for colder weather. I've also purchased 5 other pairs for him for different seasons (what a spoilt husband!) one of which was a professional pair for work. I'll review them all separately. He loves these Tokio shoes and it took him few days to break in. Thank you very much for making such reliable, comfortable and simply good shoes for our health! -Yulia

The Tokio Birk (different colors) is the backbone of my footware--I would be lost if Birkenstock no longer made this design. I love how comfortable it is, the extra support with the back strap, and of course the variety of colors.

Fits my feet very well

This is my second pair of Tokio suede shoes. The style is attractive. Toe room is generous and the suede is beautifully soft and comfortable. Arch support is good. The strap ensures that there will be no concerns about shoe slippage - particularly on stairs. I can comfortably wear these - with socks - all day.

I bought these in the last sale last chance and I can't believe how wonderful they are. They make me feel so good and my feet do not hurt in them. They're wide enough not to hurt my arthritic toes and I don't have to scrunch my toes up to hold them on because the strap in the back and I love it. I have a lot of their clogs. I have a lot of BIRKENSTOCK shoes and boots, but I absolutely love these particular type clogs. I'm so thankful I got them in my size and they were on sale.

The shoe is attractive, which i like but most important it's comfortable on my feet. I love Birkenstock.

First pair of Tokio style that I've purchased. Typically wear London's. Was looking for a style that would be little cooler for warmer weather, but still have the security of a heel/strap.

These shoes are very comfortable. The color is going to be brighter than in the photo. My friends call them my jams because they look like sweet potatoes.

These Tokio clogs are adorable. Love the heel strap so my toes don't curl to keep the shoe on when I take a step. The light sage green suede is still super neutral but is complemented by the more vibrant green leather strap around the heel.

These are so incredibly comfortable and easy to adjust. In cold weather you can add a pair of scrunched socks and in warm weather you can wear them as is. Extremely versatile as well.

I've been dealing with two different types of tendonitis in my foot. After getting out of a medical boot I was on the hunt for everyday shoes that gave the support I needed. I was surprised and thrilled at how much birkenstocks helped! More than most tennis shoes I tried, their firm soles and high arches are exactly what my foot needed. I love the heal strap for extra stability. The suede is beautiful but fragile. Only reason it's not a 5 star. I'm wearing these shoes everywhere and they are quickly showing the signs. Otherwise very happy.

My new favorite shoe!

these are so cute and easy to wear. I am a size 6 and I got the 37 which fit big. If I bought the 36 I think my heel would have been tight to back. I wear with socks, so I don't mind the space. I have thinner feet and these fit great. Again do not size up unless you are on the other higher end on the size and wider feet.

I have always bought Boston's. Took a chance with the Tokio's and so happy I did. The back strap makes all the difference. You feel secure having the strap without having to constantly grip your toes. My new fav!!

First time owner, one of the most comfortable shoes ever owned. Foot neuroma doesn't hurt when wearing.

I wear Birkenstocks 3/4 of the year. I bought these clogs with backstrap with hopes of wearing them in the winter there. They are harder than I imagined they would be and I'm giving them time to be broke in. The thing bothering me is the constant squeaking. I'm hoping in time that will go away. I love the green color.

They do not fit with wool socks.

They are so soft and I love them. The straps on the back are very handy. I want more now.

I was tired of the "clog shuffle" and wanted the back strap. I usually wear a size 8, but the size 6 is the one that fits. I love them and appreciate the return/exchange process.

I have many birks, but wanted something more stable, so I wanted to try these with the strap in back. They fit the bill perfectly. Comfortable out of the box. I wear a 36 EU.

I went into the store and tried these on first, didn't have the color I wanted, so I ordered online. Love them. This is my first pair that cover my toes, or winter ones.

A great clog but for me the back strap was too short and I had to return them. The return went smoothly.

Like that the Tokio clogs have a heel strap, it makes for a secure fit. Both the upper and heel straps are adjustable. I also love the softness of the suede leather. I wear wool socks with these clogs for ultimate comfort.

These shoes offer the support, comfort, and safety (with back strap) that I needed as a senior. I'm so glad they came in a fun color. They are my favorite shoes!

I love these shoes SO much. They're cute, broke in almost immediately, and the strap gives me a little more stability so I don't step on the back of the shoe and release an unnecessary strand of expletives. Big plus. 5 stars.

I bought these as supportive house shoes, but am seriously considering buying a second pair to wear out in the world! I love that these are available in the wide.

I have a narrow foot and not a lot of foot volume, so to speak. I love the look of the Boston but even narrow Bostons with the strap on the tightest setting flipped and flopped on my feet. Then I discovered the Tokio and its backstrap! WOW! The look of the Boston but no flipping and flopping.

Have always wanted the Boston, but due to surgery can't grip a shoe anymore. So glad to find these with the heel strap and in pink and my size!
