True to size
I love the over all fit of this shoe super comfortable
Excellent quality footwear. Perfect arch support after tendonitis. Very very comfortable and could stand or walk all day in them. The suede is toasty and is perfect even in winter with a pair of winter socks. Birkenstocks are quite in vogue nowadays. Worth every penny. Birkenstocks are one of the very few examples of leather/suede high quality footwear left available. Own several pairs. Very happy with this purchase. My mother got a pair too and loves them.
This could be considered a love letter to Birkenstock. They are the best fitting, longest lasting footwear I've ever owned, virtually indestructable. This new pair replaced a pair I'd worn for over 20 years, and even now it's just that the old ones were stained and the soles had become run down that I decided to (finally) replace them. I did get a size smaller than the last pair, and narrower. Those unfamiliar with European sizing take note: I wear a 5 1/2B in American shoes, and according to the sizing chart in the Birkenstock ad, I would wear a 36. However, I found the 35 N a much better fit than the 36M, as the European N fits both both A&B widths. SO happy with my new pair that I've ordered a second pair in Mocha. For the first time, I will have both summer and winter Birkies!
